Welcome to the Division of Student Affairs, Diversity, & Inclusion!
The Division of Student Affairs, Diversity, & Inclusion is here to support you through all the ups and downs of college life. We want you to succeed personally and academically, and that’s why we’ve thought long and hard about how to help you do just that.
From housing and recreation to diversity and wellbeing, we’ve brought together a variety of resources to celebrate your successes and walk beside you through it all.
Our Priorities
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
We work in partnership with all members of the Champlain community and external partners to build a welcoming and inclusive community where students, faculty, and staff engage in continuous learning and growth. We have many safe spaces on campus for students to cultivate a sense of belonging. Student Affairs supports the various intercultural and affinity groups represented at Champlain.
Campus Life
Community is at the center of everything we do. When you spend years living and learning on campus, it’s important you feel you a part of a welcoming, inclusive, thriving environment. Here at Champlain, we’re here to make that reality.
Wellbeing
Your wellbeing matters. From mental health and counseling support to ways to get your body moving, our wellbeing resources only continue to grow. Just think: therapy dog visits, sleep workshops, lessons on social connection, and more. We’ve got you (and your mind, body, and soul) covered.
Safety & Respect
Your safety is top priority. We are here to help create and maintain a safe and healthy environment where all members of our community are treated with respect and dignity.
Join or Start a Student Organization
Joining or starting a club or organization is an excellent way to meet other students who share your passions and experiences. Develop your sense of belonging on campus while making memories and friends as you go.
Report a Concern
Concerned about a student who is displaying behaviors that may interfere with their ability to be successful in the college environment? Concerned that a student’s behavior goes against our community values or is negatively impacting people around them? We are here to help.
