Empowerment & Leadership Development
-
We host programming that aims to empower women and celebrate their accomplishments. We help women on our campus nurture confidence, bravery, and self advocacy skills. We take pride in organizing a variety of events that contribute to students’ academic, personal, and professional success, with a focus on those who stand to gain the most from such support.
Examples of Signature Empowerment & Leadership Development Programming:
- Women’s History Month programming
- International Women’s Day Event
- Women’s Empowerment Initiative
Celebrating Diversity in Gender & Sexual Orientation

Our mission includes raising awareness about crucial topics like gender pronouns, sexual orientation, and intersectionality within the community. Serving as an inclusive and comforting space for Champlain’s LGBTQ+ community, the Center provides a platform for discussions and support. Our student-led LGBTQ+ group, Include+, convenes biweekly to connect and create community.
