Graduation
Graduation is a major milestone. We're proud to deliver the diplomas and honors designations to commemorate and celebrate your accomplishments.
Champlain College confers degrees three times a year, at the end of the semester in May, August, and December.
If you completed your program in the first half of the spring semester, your degree will be conferred in May. Diplomas for May graduates will be mailed out after Commencement.
August and December graduates will receive their diplomas upon completion of their programs.
Honors Designations
Champlain College recognizes distinguished academic achievement by awarding degrees cum laude, magna cum laude, and summa cum laude.
Graduation Honors: Latin distinctions are given to graduating undergraduate students with the following minimum cumulative grade point averages:
Summa Cum Laude: | 3.80 Average GPA |
Magna Cum Laude: | 3.65 Average GPA |
Cum Laude: | 3.50 Average GPA |
Divisions may award additional honors recognizing academic, service and career development achievements. Conduct records may be accessed in the determination of these awards.
Request a Replacement Diploma
If your degree has been posted and you have already received your original diploma/certificate, you may order a replacement diploma if necessary.
Replacement diplomas are available to former Champlain students by completing this form.
