Sarah E. Ramsey ’12 Scholarship Fund

This permanent Fund was established in memory of Sarah Elizabeth Ramsey, Champlain College Class of 2012, by her family and friends to honor her inspiring creativity, thirst to experience all life has to offer, and passion for advertising and branding.

Sarah Ramsey

Sarah Ramsey was a dynamic, passionate, creative individual who—as a Marketing Advertising major at Champlain College—left an undeniable impact on those around her. She was a risk-taker. She was a woman who knew few bounds. She pushed the limits. She was “wired to work” and looked for every opportunity to learn, grow, and challenge herself. She lived every moment with gusto, aggressively seeking experiences that would transform her way of thinking, her point of view, her world. She volunteered, she studied abroad in Peru and in China, she created advertising and branding campaigns for small brands and big brands. She made a difference.

Sarah Ramsey Innovation Lab (iLab)

Located on the first floor of the S.D. Ireland Family Center for Global Business & Technology, the iLab is designed with collaboration in mind. This collaboration provides real-world experience with live-client work, product design, and rapid prototyping. Aspiring innovative professionals explore both the basics and the complexities of how business is conducted in a global economy.

Designed to foster brainstorming, creativity, and problem-solving, the iLab embodies both Sarah Ramsey’s memory and Champlain’s commitment to innovation. The space provides collaborative meeting space for the Stiller Women in Business group and a quiet study area available to all students in the Stiller School of Business, though students in other majors can request access.
