Meet some of your future classmates, get a feel for the kind of events that take place on campus every week, and maybe even win some prizes! This is the perfect time to get to know Champlain and other admitted students before Saturday’s events.

President’s Reception for Families
For all family members, we hope you’ll join us for a President’s Reception to celebrate this monumental time in your student’s life. Food and drink will be provided.
Saturday
Welcome, Welcome!
Today’s the day! Start your morning with a warm welcome from current students, Admissions staff members, and influential members of the Champlain community. From there, you and your family will be guided to the next stop on your fun-filled day.
Meet Classmates & Current Students
One of the best parts of Admitted Student Day is the opportunity to meet your classmates—and maybe even find your future roommate! Get to know the other students in your major when we break into academic presentations. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in an interactive activity, allowing you to collaborate with people who have similar interests as you.
Plus there will be plenty of student leaders on hand to answer any questions about what it’s really like to be a student at Champlain.
Res Hall & Campus Tour
Scope out the Victorian-era mansions and count the number of steps between your favorite residence hall to the dining hall, to the library, or anywhere else you see yourself spending lots of time. The tour of our beautiful hillside campus will include our academic buildings, library, the dining hall (and it’s out-of-this-world view!), and more. We’ll also have a special residence hall tour available, so you can get a closer look at the unique spaces that first-year residents call home.
Info Fair & Student Life
How can you get involved on campus? Where will you hang out, make friends, and make a difference? Our Information Fair will be packed with all the amazing people who will help you answer those questions and make you feel at home here.
Chat with representatives from Housing & Residential Life, the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, the Women’s & Gender Center, Academic Support and Tutoring, the Counseling Center, and more. You’ll also be able to check out campus spaces like the Leahy Center for Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity, state-of-the-art Esports arena, art gallery, and more!
Special Programming for Families and Friends
You are now a part of the Champlain family ! At these special sessions, you’ll get more information about Financial Aid, learn all about career success, explore study abroad opportunities, and hear from Champlain experts about the different resources available to students and families to ensure that your student has a successful transition to life at Champlain.
