Did you know the State of Vermont, in collaboration with the University of Vermont and the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC), offers a $5,000 loan repayment program to incentivize and retain new graduates from Vermont colleges and universities?

Continue to enjoy this beautiful state post-graduation and contribute to the Vermont workforce!

Who is eligible to apply?

Any recent graduate can apply that meets the following criteria:

  • graduated from a Vermont college or university between December 2023 and June 2024 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, and
  •  plans to live and work in Vermont full-time for two years following graduation.

OR

  • graduated from a Vermont college or university between December 2023 and June 2024 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree, and
  • is starting their own businesses in Vermont, encouraging our entrepreneurial graduates to pursue their ideas and business dreams right here in the Green Mountain State.

Recipients will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must submit proof of employment when applying. Employment will be verified with the Vermont-based  employer at two points: after one year of employment and after the second year of employment.
