A safe campus requires the help of many hands, which is why our community works closely together to provide you with the best possible service—and to keep our campus safe. As you seek CPS services, you may be directed or referred to other Champlain offices and resources to better assist you with issues including health, wellness, facilities, and harassment. Your safety is our top priority.
Located in Skiff Hall Room 100, services include individual and group counseling, psychiatric medication management and referrals, crisis services, and wellness programming. All degree-seeking students taking classes on campus are eligible for counseling services free of charge.
Located on the ground level of Whiting Hall, the health center provides health care through preventative, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services. These services are focused not only on the individual, but on the College community as a whole.
The CARE Team meets regularly to evaluate behaviors by any college student that is perceived to be threatening, harming or disruptive to the student, to others or to both. The team then coordinates an appropriate response.
