Whether you’re new to our community or have been with us for years, Champlain College values the health and well-being of our employees.
The College offers three health insurance plans through Cigna. Two are high-deductible health plans (with an HSA), and one is a low-deductible plan. All health plans include 100% coverage for preventive care services in the Cigna network.
The College offers two dental plans provided by Northeast Delta Dental. Both plans include preventative, restorative, and orthodontic services.
The College offers two vision plans by VSP Vision Care. Our two levels of coverage include an eye exam each year, as well as varied benefits towards prescription lenses, frames, or contact lenses.
For employees participating in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP), the College offers a Health Savings Account (HSA) with HealthEquity. The College funds a portion of this HSA each payroll cycle, and participants may elect to contribute to the account as well.
A HealthEquity debit card is provided to pay for expenses at the time of service or through the online portal.
Eligible faculty and staff may opt to pay for qualified health and dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis through a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with Navia. An employee determines how much to contribute annually. This annual election is divided by the number of pay periods throughout the year and is deducted from each paycheck on a pre-tax basis. A Navia debit card is provided to pay for expenses at the time of service or through the app or online portal.
