Join us in the CCM Stairnook Gallery for a powerful community art show in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). Come witness the unveiling of our collaborative community mural – the Lotus Collective – alongside individual artistic contributions from our community members. This exhibition offers a supportive space to reflect, connect, and engage with important conversations through the transformative power of art. All are welcome to attend and show support for survivors and our ongoing commitment to awareness and prevention. Featuring: •A collective mural project – The Lotus Collective – representing our community’s strength and solidarity •Gallery of individual artwork submissions exploring themes of healing, resilience, and awareness •Light refreshments Call to Artists: Champlain’s Women’s & Gender Center and Dare to CARE are inviting art submissions for the Sexual Assault Awareness Month Art Show. We seek artwork that explores the theme of sexual assault – it may be messages of pain, healing, community impact, or advocacy. Artists do not need to be survivors of sexual assault to participate. ALL students, staff, and faculty are welcome to submit. Click here for more guidelines about art submissions.
