Overdose Prevention and Response Training

This training by the Vermont Department of Health will focus on overdose prevention, opioid overdose response, and naloxone.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to…

• Understand emerging overdose trends in Vermont
• Learn the various programs in Vermont focused on overdose prevention and how they serve Vermonters
• Recognize and safely respond to an opioid overdose

Students will have the opportunity to take resources home with them, including naloxone and fentanyl and xylazine drug testing strips. There will also be a Q&A portion. This counts as a Second Year InSight CAREtalk. Must attend the full program to receive InSight credit.
