Biography
Michael Dubie (Elected October 2021) is a career F-16 pilot in the Vermont Air National Guard and also served as Vermont’s 24th Adjutant General from 2006-2012. He finished his military career in 2015 as a US Air Force three-star general and Deputy Commander of US Northern Command in Colorado. Mike earned a BA in Economics from the University of Vermont (UVM) and an MA in International Relations from Norwich University. He also was awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws from UVM and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from St. Michael’s College. Other awards include Vermonter of the Year in 2011; and, in 2015 the Governor General of Canada, on behalf of Queen Elizabeth, awarded Mike the Meritorious Service Medal. Mike lives in Vermont with his wife Amy, who along with her parents, are all graduates of Champlain College.
