Biography

Chikomborero (Chiko) Jeso graduated from Champlain College in December of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration; Chiko continued his education at Champlain College, and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity in May of 2024. During his time at Champlain he has also worked as a Data Intern, Course Producer, and Senior Enrollment Operations Coordinator.

He really likes making processes more efficient and solving problems, and he also found joy in working with numbers in Excel and Google Sheets.

In his free time Chiko reads cybersecurity articles, watches videos about cybersecurity and computer hardware, and continues to learn about different business topics online. Chiko also loves making music, and he enjoys watching comedy and action movies. He may also watch a rom-com once in a while, don’t tell anyone.

Hobbies

Making music, cooking, fixing computer and network settings, thinking about cybersecurity, the economy, and the state of the world, making jokes that are definitely funny

Biography

Kari Banas grew up in Massachusetts and then lived in Rhode Island with her husband and three boys until her whole family made the wonderful move to Vermont in 2012. They had been camping in VT for many years and once they moved never looked back. She has a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from Adelphi University in New York and loves to dance. She joined Champlain College in 2018 as a Compass Student Services Representative and has been with Student Accounts and Billing for over a year now. You will find her most days rain/snow or shine, walking all over campus during her lunch as she loves to see and engage with our students.

Biography

Casey grew up in New Hampshire, but has lived in Vermont since 2015 with her husband and two dogs. She loves all things outdoors – hiking, snowboarding, camping, paddle boarding, and fishing. Her goals are to visit every National Park in America and climb the highest peak in every state. Casey loves to read and go to concerts. She is the “cool aunt” to her nieces and nephews and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Casey has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in English and a Master’s degree in Higher Education with a focus in College Administration and Organizational Leadership. She has worked at Champlain College since 2015.

Favorite local eateries and things to do in Vermont:

My favorite eateries are The Hatchet, Stone Corral, and Kotos. I love to enjoy Vermont State Parks and all of the outdoor activities that Vermont has to offer.
