The DREAM program provides 1-on-1 mentoring to children in the local community. The club offers enriching experiences, engaging the children in fun activities around Burlington and the Champlain College campus. This not only provides them with memorable experiences but also broadens their horizons and encourages exploration. A strong bond between Champlain College and the greater Burlington area is an essential part of the DREAM program’s mission. Hearthlight is a club where students meet twice a week to engage in physical activities using foam props. The main activities include games such as capture the flag and red-light, green-light. The main priority of the club is everyone’s safety followed by inclusion and fun. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come participate or watch. It’s a great place to meet and talk to upperclassmen.

Include+ hosts weekly gatherings for LGBTQ+ students and allies to come hang out. This club provides a safe, welcoming space for any student involved in the queer community. Some activities we have done at club meetings in the past include video games, board games, chess, PowerPoint presentation nights, pizza parties, and nail painting. We also march in the Burlington Pride Parade each year with the Women’s & Gender Center.
