Description
The Champlain College Dance Team is a fun way for students to dance in college without the pressure of tryouts. Previous dance experience is appreciated, but is not required. We work on many fun and unique projects during the year and experiment with different dance styles. At the end of the year, there is an opportunity to perform at the annual Champlain College Dance Team (CCDT) Showcase, with original choreography from our members. We strive to have a positive and safe environment for everyone to be in their bodies comfortably while dancing.

Champlain Club Esports is the largest club on campus. We support multiple teams and run interactive community events. The mission of our club is to foster a community of individuals who are eager to spend time out in nature. Whether it be hiking across the rolling hills of Vermont’s Green Mountains in a sea of fall colors, paddling through the lakes, creeks, and rivers of the New York Adirondacks, or gliding across the snow on a cross-country skiing trail, we are committed to getting you out there. Our trips vary in difficulty, ranging from casual day hikes simply meant for appreciating the beauty of the woods, to strenuous treks that will be a true test of endurance. Regardless of whether you consider yourself to be a casual hiker or a rugged adventurer, there is something here for you. Formerly known as the Champlain Hiking Club.

Champlain Ultimate Frisbee welcomes players of all skill levels to join weekly pick-up games. We’re happy to teach new players! Ultimate is a great opportunity to meet people on campus, get some fresh air, and have fun. We play casual games on and off campus, as well as other disc-related games such as KanJam and disc golf.

Rock Climbing is a great way to de-stress after long days of studying and schoolwork. It’s also a great way to stay fit, meet new people, and exercise problem solving. We rock climb at local gyms and provide transportation to and from. Rock climbing is a great community and when operating within the Champlain College community, it only makes both stronger!

Description
Hearthlight is a club where students meet twice a week to engage in physical activities using foam props. The main activities include games such as capture the flag and red-light, green-light. The main priority of the club is everyone’s safety followed by inclusion and fun. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come participate or watch. It’s a great place to meet and talk to upperclassmen.

Our Intramural Sports are run through the Office of Student Engagement and offer a diverse range of activities that cater to athletes of all levels and interests. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just looking to try something new, this is a great opportunity for you.
Dodgeball
- Mondays, 8:30–10:00 PM
- Argosy Gymnasium
- Drop in format, come with friends or by yourself. Compete all night or just for a few games. Dodgeball can be a great stress reliever!
Soccer
- Tuesdays, 7:00–8:30 PM
- Argosy Gymnasium
- Drop in format. Futsol rules when indoors, but there will be outdoor games at local fields at times as well.
Floor Hockey
- Wednesdays, 5:00–6:30 PM
- Argosy Gymnasium
- Drop in format. All equipment provided!
Basketball

Description
Ski and Ride is an inclusive, community-building club for students interested in winter outdoor recreation. Our goal is to form a community in which people can learn to ski and ride in a safe and welcoming environment! Meet friends and form lasting memories with other Champlain students. We host events like general meetings, movie premieres, and shop nights. When the cold months bring snow, the club will transition to in-person, on-hill events, such as community ski days, learn-to-ski events, and our annual Rail Jam.
