The Asian Student Association was created to make a safe space and learning environment for people who identify as Asian and/or want to know more about Asian culture. Club members are not required to be Asian American or Pacific Islanders. The club includes members of all races and promotes cultural awareness at Champlain College and throughout the Burlington community. The club meets on the first Wednesday of every month and hosts various events throughout the year.

Black Student Union (BSU) is a student-run group sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA) with a threefold mission: create a safe space and supportive environment for students of color to express their opinions, ideas, and cultures; increase awareness and appreciation for Black history, culture, and issues through educational events, cultural celebrations, and open and engaging conversations; and support and advocate for issues that affect our students of color.

Include+ hosts weekly gatherings for LGBTQ+ students and allies to come hang out. This club provides a safe, welcoming space for any student involved in the queer community. Some activities we have done at club meetings in the past include video games, board games, chess, PowerPoint presentation nights, pizza parties, and nail painting. We also march in the Burlington Pride Parade each year with the Women’s & Gender Center.

Stiller Women in Business is a group of students who are committed to giving women and other marginalized communities within the business world a safe space to hang out and talk about classes and other activities on campus. Our Women in Cybersecurity chapter is part of an international organization dedicated to providing resources, opportunities, and mentorship to women and gender minorities in cybersecurity. We host events to provide a sense of support and camaraderie to women and gender minorities studying cybersecurity. We also attend the national Women in Cybersecurity conference in the spring as a group to represent the college. Our meetings are open to all, not just women or cybersecurity majors.

Women In Games (W.I.G.) is a club that was created to show the value that women, femme-identifying, non-binary professionals, and allies hold within the Game Studio at Champlain College. By providing its members with access to technology, and conducting professional development workshops with keynote guest speakers, there is an elimination of any barriers that may be held within the industry. W.I.G. at Champlain College works with two organizations, Women in Games International (W.I.G.I.) as well as the Women In Games (W.I.G.) based out of the UK. Join W.I.G. to meet and collaborate with different students in an inclusive environment, as that is when the best ideas come together!

The Womxn in Technology Club offers a safe and supportive space for students who are considered minorities in the field of technology. While the club mainly focuses on the experiences of students who are minorities in regard to gender (female-identifying and gender non-conforming), all students are welcome. Diverse experiences and perspectives are what our club is all about! Join us for a mix of community building and technical nights, where we invite guest speakers, talk about different technologies folks are interested in, and do hands-on educational activities and labs.
