Environmental Communication Concentration
Inspire real-world change by developing the skills to articulate the complexities and scope of today’s environmental issues to the audiences who need to hear them.
Manage the conversations and communication that inspire change.
Communication tools allow us to understand the complex dimensions of a given environmental problem, and to form an effective and ethical response to that problem. With an Environmental Communication concentration, you’ll explore regional and global environmental challenges in the context of natural and human history, political and economic systems, and human and media communication framing. You’ll understand how to leverage media to share the right messages with the right audiences to affect change and influence mindsets.
