Within 6 months of graduation, 90% of the Class of 2023 achieved Career Success: 86% were employed (83% of those in career-relevant positions) and 4% pursuing continuing education.
While many schools tout their “outcome rates,” it’s important to understand what that data is based on. For our 2023 six months post-graduation Career Outcomes Report, our knowledge rate was 81% (the percentage of those graduates whose information is verifiable). The national knowledge rate for the Class of 2023 is 58%. What does this mean? Our Career Outcome data is significantly more accurate than the national average.
For the Class of 2023, the average median starting salary was $52,500. 8.5% of those who responded to the employment survey received sign-on bonuses with the average sign-on bonus amount of $8,146.
In the Class of 2023, 55% had two or more internships/experiential learning opportunities on or off campus (15% of those had three; 8% had four; and 5% had five or more internships/experiential learning experiences).
For Class of 2023, 61% of internships were paid; 39% were for course credit.
42% of the Class of 2023 remained right here in Vermont after graduation. 30% in other locations in the North East. 26% in the U.S. outside the Northeast, and 2% are located internationally.
