Learn from the very best in Champlain’s Game Studio Experience, collaborating with faculty practitioners with years of practical experience in a complex industry.
Our faculty are industry experts with years of experience. Our faculty members function as guides for our students, building pathways to professional careers in a burgeoning industry and making Champlain College a top school for game design, according to the Princeton Review—this year #12 in the nation.
[The Game Studio Experience] is remarkably useful. I think it’s a great preparatory experience for working in the industry, not just because of the skills students learn, but also the mindset we teach. Having now worked with students a lot in studios on actual projects, I really see how well our students are set up for success. We teach teamwork, we teach failure resilience (even expectation!), we teach resourcefulness.
In any of our seven Game Studio majors, you'll build relevant skills in your chosen area of game development, so that by graduation you'll be a collaborative team player with the professional experience needed to work in a studio.
There are plenty of events and opportunities both in and out of the classroom to help build skills beyond your major classes. Here, you can form community networks of friends and future coworkers.
