Inside Champlain’s Residence Halls
Housing at Champlain College is unlike anywhere else. In fact, one of the most distinctive features of Champlain is our 19 Victorian-Era mansion residence halls. Did we say mansion? Yes, you heard right!
Champlain’s student housing includes real historic mansions, equipped with ultra-fast wireless connectivity and a whole lot of charm! All first-year students have the opportunity to live in one, and many find they love it so much, they live on campus all four years.
For those who prefer a more modern living space, Champlain also has contemporary residence halls on campus and apartment-style living at 194 St. Paul Street for sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
No two rooms on Champlain’s campus look the same, which allows students to really make their space their own. Champlain’s marketing department recently held a contest to find the coolest rooms on campus. Here are some photos of the winners.
Bankus Hall
Bankus is home to 42 first-year students! This residence hall has doubles, triples, quads, and even a five-person suite.
Juniper Hall
Juniper is one of Champlain’s sophomore residence halls. Along with a thermostat in each room and multiple study spaces, Juniper is also equipped with a kitchen and common room with a modern aesthetic.
Hill Hall
Hill Hall is on the corner of Maple and South Willard streets, has newly renovated bathrooms, and is equipped with air conditioning.
McDonald Hall
If you’ve visited campus, you’ve most likely passed McDonald Hall in awe. It features turrets, arches, and beautiful woodwork, making it a popular first-year residence hall request.
South House
South House is located in the more quiet and residential part of Burlington’s Hill District. It houses 50 first-year students and is one of our larger residence halls.
All Champlain College residences halls have wireless internet, shared gigabit connection, cable television, and are smoke- and substance-free.
If you’d like to see our residence halls and the beautiful city of Burlington in person, schedule a campus tour!
