Experience-Based Learning
At Stiller, you’ll build your expertise, portfolio, and professional network by doing starting on day one. Alongside the Upside-Down Curriculum, our business degree programs are designed to get our students doing real-world experiences earlier and often, with room to study (or even intern) abroad. Because doing better starts with DOING.
Professional Experience
Get your foot in the door by stepping out of the classroom. Most Stiller majors require an internship as part of their curriculum. Why? Because in today’s marketplace, it’s critical for students to enter the workforce with a proven track record of experience and industry understanding.
In fact, over the last six years, 97% of all Stiller graduates participated in at least one internship while at Champlain. Because they know that when it comes to their future careers, there’s no substitute for experience.
Learn About InternshipsExplore the Global Marketplace
All business is global; make it an intentional part of your experience through a study abroad or international internship. You have easy access to two international Champlain College campuses in Dublin and Montreal. Our students learn to bridge the gap between the insurmountable and the ordinary through global perspectives and innovative business practices.
Plus, each year we make it possible for dozens of students to find their place in the world through financial and academic support. Our Freeman Foundation Grant sends nearly 25 students on internships throughout Asia each summer.
Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Do you own a business already? Do you have a great concept or idea that you want to make a reality? Our goal at the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) is to help you realize your personal goal, whether you’ve started a business or not. As long as you can articulate your idea and convey your vision—you’re an excellent candidate to get involved with the CIE.
The CIE provides a unique opportunity for student entrepreneurs to get help starting or launching a new business, or to enhance an existing business idea.
